A Humanitarian Hoax: Feeding Gaza On Israel’s Terms

Gaza’s new US-Israeli “aid mechanism” is being orchestrated by the very powers starving its people. Relief without accountability is not humanitarian—it’s propaganda.

A Humanitarian Hoax: Feeding Gaza On Israel’s Terms

Israel’s sudden announcement that a new U.S.-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) will resume aid delivery should set off alarm bells.

After roughly 10–11 weeks (about 74 days) of total blockade, the GHF claims Israel will “allow the flow” of food and medicine — yet Israel itself has said nothing publicly to confirm this.

In fact, the “agreement” comes just as Israel is preparing a massive ground assault on Gaza.

The so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" is not humanitarian. It's a branding exercise in conquest, displacement, and dehumanization, outsourced to private contractors and sanitized for Western consumption. Aid—true aid—should be impartial, unconditional, and never weaponized. But Israel’s government has normalized the idea that an occupying power can withhold food, water, and medicine based on the whims of political revenge. That precedent is not just dangerous—it’s deadly.

A U.S.-Israel Project

The GHF was only created with explicit backing from Washington and Jerusalem. Its own proposal highlights how deeply embedded it is in military strategy: letters to the Israeli government request more “Secure Aid Distribution Sites” to cover the whole enclave, and insist that any displacement be “temporary and voluntary” for civilian protection. But we already know the real plan on the ground: up to 2 million Palestinians in Gaza are set to be forced south into a so-called “humanitarian zone”, which is meaningless seeing as how Israel repeatedly has bombed so-called safe zones for more than a year.

In short, this “aid foundation” is a PR veneer over Israel’s objectives. Its executive director (an American veteran) and international advisory board are handpicked by U.S./Israeli interests , and it proposes using private U.S. contractors to run logistics and let the IDF secure the area.
All the while, Gaza’s existing UN and NGO channels would be shut down in favor of Israeli-controlled compounds. This is not humanitarian independence — it’s occupation under a new label.

Starvation and Promised Meals

Meanwhile, Gaza’s humanitarian crisis is beyond catastrophic. No aid has entered since March 2, and the UN’s relief chief has warned we face the real risk of famine in Gaza. The UN also says that half a million Palestinian in Gaza are on the brink of starvation – about a quarter of the population. The GHF loudly touts “over 300 million meals” committed in 90 days, but in context this barely equals one meal per person per day.

(For reference, the World Food Program estimates Gaza needs at least 150 aid trucks every day just to feed a million people three meals each.) And which organizations will ensure this food reaches the neediest? So far every major UN agency and aid group in Gaza has flatly refused to participate. They correctly note that the GHF plan “contravenes fundamental humanitarian principles” and would simply herd desperate civilians into militarized distribution sites while ignoring the sick and immobile.

In other words, hungry people would line up in exposed zones for one weekly ration, rather than getting aid at home through neutral channels.
