Israel's US-Backed Genocide In Full Swing As Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine Continues
Israel’s relentless campaign of ethnic cleansing in Palestine accelerates with full Western complicity, masked by propaganda, military force, and a perversion of humanitarianism.
The Genocide Never Stopped
It hardly even paused. Its evil did not waver. It simply shifted migrating like a shadow across occupied land. As Gaza burned, now Jenin smolders. No part of occupied Palestine is spared. The Zionist project of ethnic cleansing is as relentless as it is methodical. As comprehensive as it is diabolical. Israel is doing what it has always done: expands, annexes, and erases. The world watches, and worse, enables.
“Operation Iron Wall”
Now that Israel has fully launched Operation Iron Wall in Jenin. Know that the name is not random. It comes from the foundational doctrine of Vladimir Jabotinsky, one of Zionism’s ideological architects. He wrote that “There can be no voluntary agreement between ourselves and the Palestine Arabs...The native populations, civilized or uncivilized, have always stubbornly resisted the colonists..."
He knew, as every colonizer has known, that the indigenous people will always resist their own displacement. And so, the solution was to build an iron wall — not just of military force, but of global complicity. This is the ideology driving Netanyahu’s government today.
Jenin Under Siege
Since the start of the year, more than 70 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank including 10 children. Airstrikes, once rare in this part of occupied Palestine, have become a regular occurrence. Entire neighborhoods in Jenin have been leveled by detonation. Some 30,000 human beings have been forced to flee. And yet, Western governments remain silent. Remain in support of “Israel’s right to self defense” — an all too convenient perversion of logic and truth. Israel has withheld humanitarian aid for over a year, further crippling the Palestinian economy and pushing more and more people toward starvation.
State-Sanctioned Terrorism
Meanwhile, Israeli settlers continue their violent rampages under military protection. Just this week, Basel Adra, a Palestinian journalist and co-director of the Oscar-nominated documentary No Other Land, was surrounded and attacked by masked settlers in Masafer Yatta. They hurled stones, smashed cars, and slashed tires, all while Israeli forces stood by.
This is the reality of the occupation: settler terror, sponsored by the state, and army-enforced displacement — aiming to erase all Palestinian life.
Criminalizing Resistance
When Palestinians resist, they are branded as terrorists. When a Palestinian gunman infiltrated an Israeli military base near the Taysir checkpoint, opening fire on soldiers, killing 2 and injuring 8 other soldiers, the condemnations are loud. Politicians repeat the upside-down refrain, that Israel has a right to defend itself from Palestinian terrorists.
When in reality, under international law, an occupied people has the right to armed resistance against a military occupation. It is the occupying power which does not have a right to occupy that is conveniently erased, in order to perpetuate the erasure of the occupied.
When these incidents happen, the media frames them in isolation as terrorism, ripping them from the context with which they occur: The status quo of a brutal and illegal soul-crushing occupation.
Resistance Is A Right
An occupied people has the right of armed resistance in international law. The Palestinian who carried out the operation was able to infiltrate a military base, fortify himself in one of the surveillance towers, and exchange fire with IOF for a short period of time before he was killed. All those wounded were military.
Of course, the Israeli response will be indiscriminate, as it always is. They will not only hunt down the attacker, they will demolish his family’s home. They will likely destroy his entire neighborhood. They will impose collective punishment, a war crime under international law. And each time this happens, more Palestinians will conclude that the only way to resist their oppression is by taking up arms.
The PA’s Complicity
Israel’s raids have destroyed over 100 homes and buildings. Civil Defense teams are continuing their search and rescue efforts, working to save survivors trapped beneath the debris of a Palestinian home demolished by Zionist forces in the Jenin refugee camp, located in the occupied West Bank.
The Palestinian Authority, which has long served as an enforcer of Israel’s occupation under the guise of “security coordination” is now actively participating in the suppression of Palestinian resistance.
Raids are taking place across the West Bank, including in Ramallah, the PA’s de facto headquarters. Israel is treating its military campaign in Jenin and beyond as an actual war in which it acts as both the occupier and the self-declared victim. The political and media establishment will fall in line, repeating a series of refrains designed to flip truth on its head and render facts meaningless, and context inconvenient.
The Drive For Annexation
All of this is happening as Netanyahu scrambles to maintain his far-right coalition. His government’s survival depends on appeasing extremist figures like Bezalel Smotrich, who has openly called for the annexation of the West Bank. In fact, he had previously set a target: full Israeli sovereignty over the West Bank by 2025.
Since Israel unleashed its assault on Gaza in October 2023, violence in the West Bank has exploded. For the first time since the Second Intifada, Israel has been launching airstrikes on the occupied territory — 152 and counting. At least 870 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli forces and settlers since the war began, but the killing isn’t random, it’s systemic.
Settler attacks have surged to record levels. In just 15 months, at least 1,860 settler assaults have been documented, home invasions, arson, beatings, shootings and acts of terror, carried out with the full backing of the Israeli military. This isn’t just escalation. It’s annexation by force.
With Trump back in the White House, Israeli hardliners feel emboldened. So today, while Netanyahu meets with Trump in Washington, the meeting will officially be about a “ceasefire in Gaza”. But in reality, it is about Israel’s dreams of a greater Israel, of further normalizing the obscene and immoral. Israels ambitions do not end with the West Bank and Gaza, they extend to Lebanon, Syria, and even Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula. Annexation is not a question of if, but when.
America’s Perversions
Today, we heard National Security Adviser Michael Waltz dare to utter some of the most obscene words ahead of Netanyahu’s visit to the White House. He told reporters that Trump’s "cleaning out" Gaza comment referred to a long-range plan to make the enclave habitable, and that it is "unfair" to Palestinians to tell them they'd return within five years. With a straight face, he said:
"I think President Trump is looking at this from a humanitarian standpoint. You have these people that are sitting with literally thousands of unexploded ordnance, in piles of rubble. At some point, we have to look realistically: how do you rebuild Gaza? What does that look like? What is the timeline? I think a lot of people are looking at unrealistic timelines—we’re talking 10, 15 years."
Let’s be clear: this is not a humanitarian concern. This is a cover-up. A way to frame ethnic cleansing as aid. A way to wash the blood off hands still dripping with the weapons that made Gaza a pile of rubble in the first place. The U.S. didn’t just "enable" this catastrophe—it funded it, armed it, justified it, and now, it wants to help Israel finish the job under the guise of "rebuilding."
They bomb, they starve, they erase—and then they tell us they care.
The empire has no clothes.
No Justice. No Peace.
Today marks 1,000 days since Israeli forces assasinated Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh while she was reporting in Jenin. There was no accountability and no justice.
It has been days since Israel detonated and destroyed entire blocks of homes in the West Bank. And yet, the media remains largely silent. The world continues to turn away. Again, there is no accountability and no justice.
Palestine Persists
Without addressing the root cause of the cycle of violence, it will continue as Israel needs it to continue for it to continue, pretending that it is waging a war of occupation, colonialism, and collective punishment somehow in self-defense.
Trump, who is now considering sending 24,000 guns that Biden held up over concerns they’d be used for “unjustified violence” against Palestinians, stated that he could not guarantee the continuation of the ceasefire in Gaza.
He also was asked if he supports Israel annexing the West Bank. His answer? Rambling, cryptic—but clear: Israel is “too small,” so yes, he supports Israel swallowing up more Palestinian land and beyond.
But the story is not over. Because despite the massacres, despite the occupation, despite the unrelenting violence. Palestinians remain, steadfast. They have been bombed, displaced, starved, and erased, but they remain. They resist, not just with weapons, but with their very existence, with their refusal to disappear. With their refusal to surrender.
Israel can continue to violate all normals and all decency, it can descend deeper into its unfettered barbarism. It can redraw maps, demolish homes, and rewrite history, but it cannot erase a people who refuse to be erased.
It cannot win a war against memory and truth. It cannot break a people determined to exist. And so for now,
Palestine persists.
what we are to do,
however, with our hearts
waiting and watching
-truly I do not know.
...
I tell you this
to break your heart,
by which I mean only
that it break open and never close again
to the rest of the world.
