Glad Mamdani won but I fear for him. JFK comes to mind! My God protect him.

This was my immediate thought . For the sake of justice ,humanity , and America’s future I hope he remains safe , and achieves ALL that he is capable of . The Australian government lacks this level of strength and courage, to their eternal shame .

A note in a symphony indeed. These genocidists want to kill all of west Asia all the way to Pakistan, instead of taking the short road to The Hague, and our challenge is to expand the 30 senators and congresspersons into a majority for a free Palestine, who recognize the urgency of ending the standing ovation for war criminals goose stepping to Armageddon.

For many of us who have been doing the grinding, soul-sucking work of achingly slow paced change WITHIN the system of empire (ie the US political system) Zohran’s win was extra sweet. It feels so good to have a win. But now, we get back to work and continue grinding. And pray to God that Mamdani stays strong against pressure to push back liberation for Palestine as he ascends in political power.

No politician can please everyone 100% of the time, regardless of party. That is how you know you still have a democracy. It’s called we the people not we the peons.

I feel like some commenters need to stop hating on women, like AOC, who is amazing IMO. Muhammad sure didn’t hate on women - who were some of his first followers if what I’ve read is true.

This post has been heartening for me this morning, & I am thrilled about Mamdani’s win! I will be celebrating 🥂 it too, from Mississippi, where we long deeply for AOCS & Mamdanis. Well basically we long for politicians who aren’t greedy ill-informed aipac funded dinosaurs,🦕 but I digress.😂

Why are you conflating Jews and Zionists? That's so antisemitic.

This is a liberal fascist statement. The argument made for decades is that criticizing Israel in the US would lose the Jewish vote. This post is simply noting this manipulation and lie and how speaking truth is what wins. There was no conflation of Judaism with Zionism other than what the mass media has been promoting on behalf of the oligarchy and Israel Lobby.

He literally said that NYC had a lot of Jews in it. Why else would that be relevant?

Stephen Colbert said that too, he even said the largest population of Jews outside Tel Aviv. There’s nothing antisemetic about stating a fact.
